When Epic announced major changes to Fortnite a couple of years ago, it saw the introduction of LEGO® Fortnite and a LEGO Pass. The addition was billed as a major ongoing partnership between Epic and the LEGO Group. In the time since LEGO Fortnite first debuted, various changes have been made, including a name change, various expansions, the addition of LEGO Brick Life and a few short-lived limited-time events. But there have also been many issues. The latest concerns the LEGO Pass. The current one began in April and was due to conclude on September 2nd before being extended until October 31st. It was then announced that the next LEGO Pass would not be released until December 5th. These extensions did not go down well with the LEGO Fortnite player community, and Epic has taken note.
After announcing that new build kits and decor items would be added in new in-game quests, they have now promised that future LEGO Passes would be released more regularly, and although the December 5th pass would be smaller than usual, future passes would be a little more substantial. If you had trouble with the recent Batman content, then the character is returning in the next update, where he will appear at night and can be recruited to stick around. There’s been no mention of the Gotham-themed builds being unlockable again after also having issues during the Batman event.
