Last year, I took a look at the cute little ‘plush’ collectables found in a series of LEGO® sets. As I mentioned then, LEGO fans are suckers for collecting groups of LEGO pieces, whether these are intentional collectables such as the Harry Potter Chocolate Frog tiles or the Wanted Poster tiles from the ONE PIECE sets, or unintentional collections such as different coloured frogs, animal figures, or, as is the case here, ‘plush’ toys. The cute collectable critters haven’t been given an official name, but they are considered to represent soft toys, hence the name ‘plush’ toys. In fact, they were introduced in the 27th series of LEGO Minifigures, with two of the elements included with the Plush Toy Collector character.
Since then, there have been several variants of the elements, featured in sets as diverse as Friends, LEGO City, DREAMZzz and a huge festive build. In all of these sets, the elements have been considered to represent plush toys. But the elements were also used to replicate the deadly coconut pirate tribe, the Kakomora, from Moana.
The ‘Plush’ Toys are back for 2026, with three more introduced in some of the recently released LEGO Friends. The Summer 2026 wave of Friends sets includes three sets themed around fairground rides. Each set features one unique Plush toy, which includes a bee, a narwhal, and a donut. But you can get all three in set 42700: Candy & Cupcake Ferris Wheel.
These are another fun group of collectable LEGO pieces. Hopefully, they will continue to add more, but you can still find them in various sets released last year, plus those released more recently. Some can also be purchased via the Pick A Brick service. The hardest to find will be those included with the Series 27 Plush Collector minifigure.
