LEGO® Botanicals have taken over TANK Shanghai, where 380,000 brick-built blooms form part of a month-long exhibition. The centrepiece of the LEGO Bloom Exhibition is a huge LEGO wave that stretches 30 meters across Shanghai’s West Bund waterfront. The LEGO Botanical Wave appears to be spilling from the TANK Shanghai building, which is a former oil tank. The area’s former industrial history provides a stark contrast to the 1000s of colourful LEGO roses, sunflowers, tulips, and other brick-built plants. The LEGO Bloom Exhibition is free to visit and runs until October 29th, 2026. Learn more on designboom.
