A second LEGO® Ideas set will be joining the recently revealed E.T. The Extraterrestrial one next month. That set will be the ‘La Catrina’, inspired by the central symbol of Mexico’s Día de los Muertos or the Day of the Dead. The set was chosen to become a LEGO Ideas set back in October and is based on the design of fan builder yop1172. The detailed, elegantly clothed LEGO skeleton figure includes brick-built marigolds and printed sugar skull decorations on her hat and dress. It’s nice to see the Dead of the Dead continue to inspire LEGO builds. The LEGO Ideas La Catrina set will be available on August 1st.
