The LEGO Group have once again had a major presence at this year’s MCM Comic Con London, which also incorporates the games-focused EGX. It’s the gaming side of the event which has inspired the LEGO Stand. The invite was a little last-minute, so Robin was able to visit and popped along to check it out. The stand featured various LEGO displays, including LEGO Big Builds inspired by Fortnite, Minecraft and Mario Kart. There was also the opportunity for visitors to experience LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight for the first time in the UK. But the biggest news from the event was the unveiling of the new LEGO Minecraft sets being released in 2026. LEGO Designer Joe Lyde was on hand to officially reveal the 8 new sets. Visitors could also grab the latest LEGO sets and a Make & Take minibuild from the Smyths pop-up store and help build a unique LEGO mosaic from Fairy Bricks. It’s nice to see the LEGO Group having a major presence at a UK-based show, and I hope it continues. Thanks to the new LEGO UK PR team for the invite.

Hi Adam
I had a blast at the event. It was really cool to see the new Minecraft sets revealed live and to chat with Joe Kyde, the LEGO Minecraft design lead. The new Batman video game is out of this world and I loved playing it for a few precious minutes.
It was great to mix and chat with LEGO and gaming fans and to see the hundreds of fabulous costumes on display.
