With the new range of sets based on The LEGO® Movie 2 now in stores. So far only 19 sets have been officially revealed, with a few Polybag sets also appearing on eBay and various US retailers. Just like the original movie there will also be a direct to customer set and be warned it’s all kinds of epic. 70840: Welcome To Apolcalypseburg is a huge 3178 piece set depicting a fallen Statue of Liberty surrounded by a mismatch of buildings, including Apolcalypseburg’s premier coffee shop, Coffee Unchained. The set also features an impressive selection of minifigures, which include Scribble Cop, Larry the Barista, Fuse, “Where Are My Pants?” Guy, Roxxi, Chainsaw Dave, Mo-Hawk, Harley Quinn, Green Lantern, Batman, Lucy and Emmet. It very much in the style of the two NINJAGO City sets, which are amazing. Better still the set will be available in just a few days time, from LEGO stores and online on January 16th.
