The LEGO Group To Open Second Store In Bristol

It’s been announced that Bristol will soon be getting a second LEGO® Store. The second store will open in Cribbs Mall in Bristol and will be around 20 minutes away from the current Bristol store found in Cabot Circus. The store will feature all the usual experiences found in LEGO Stores, such as a Pick A Brick Wall and Minifigure Tower. Once the new store opens it will be the 20th UK retail store, along with the three found at LEGOLAND attractions, plus those in airports. Whilst the news is great for LEGO fans in Bristol, I don’t understand the thinking behind the spread of UK stores. London currently has four stores, which is understandable, Manchester has three and Birmingham has two. The East Midlands has zero stores, I would assume opening stores in regions without a LEGO store would make more sense than opening multiple stores in one area. 1. I don’t get it? Why isn’t there a store in Nottingham or Leicester?

Surely Bristol isn’t big enough to support two stores?
