LEGO Icons Moving Truck GWP Revealed
Images of a future LEGO® promotional set have been revealed via the LEGO Instructions page on LEGO.com and shared by Brickset. Set 40586: Moving Truck is part of the LEGO Icons range and features a little moving van and a selection of furnishings. Those furnishings suggest the set has a connection to this year’s Modular Building. There are no indications as to how the set can be obtained but I’ve heard it will begin...
Build Your LEGO Botanical Collection
With the reveal of two brand new sets, the LEGO® Botanical Collection is growing and now features a variety of buildable plants for all occasions. The entire range is still available and also includes some smaller sets. These are not all featured under the Icons branding but considered part of the range. These include the recently released Daffodils. Although the new sets aren’t released until next month, they can be pre-ordered now...
Two New Botanical Collection Sets Revealed
The LEGO Icons Botanical Collection will grow with a further 2 sets. Images of the sets have been published by Intertoys.nl and shared by Brickset. 10312: Jazz Club LEGO Modular Building Review
I’m quite the newbie when it comes to LEGO® Modulars. The first one I built was the Book Shop and I’ve been lucky enough to get them for review purposes ever since. I’ve always admired the modular buildings range and fully understand their appeal. The only reason I never delved into them was the lack of space to display them and the Pokémon nurtured urge to ‘catch them all’ would make me seek out past...
Changes To LEGO Icons Instructions In 2023
With the official reveal of the next LEGO® Modular Buildings Collection set, it will also see a slight change to the appearance of the building instructions. To match the new ‘adult’ design of the packaging for LEGO Icons sets, the instructions featured a black cover. This will be changed to a lighter colour for 2023 sets due to the introduction of paper-based bags. Here’s from the LEGO Group regarding this change:...
LEGO ICONS Eiffel Tower Now Available
Get ready to scale the heights of the LEGO® ICONS Eiffel Tower as the tallest LEGO set yet is now available. This 10,001-piece set recreates the iconic French landmark. It’s an incredible set and another great showcase of what can be achieved with LEGO brick. It’s also a massive set so you’ll need a lot of space to display it. Learn more about the set in my review. Don’t forget, if you purchase the Eiffel Tower...
10307: LEGO ICONS Eiffel Tower Review
LEGO® sets have been getting increasingly bigger but most pale in comparison to LEGO ICONS Eiffel Tower. The 10,001-piece set stands at almost 5ft in height and is almost as impactful as the landmark which has inspired it. The Eiffel Tower’s piece count and scale make it one of the largest LEGO set yet, but is size everything? I’ve been building the set and it’s finally complete, ahead of its Black Friday release,...
10303: Loop Coaster Set Review
The newly dubbed Fairground Collection began with The Mixer, although there was a carousel released back in 2009 and technically, the subtheme of sets didn’t gain the Fairground Collection moniker until the recent Haunted House. To confuse matters more the various Fairground ride sets have been released under the Creator Expert, Adults Welcome/18+ and now LEGO Icons theming. But despite their branding, the set has one thing in...
