At any given time there are many LEGO® rumours doing the rounds. I don’t make a habit of covering them, but this one I hope is true. If you cast your mind back to 2022, the LEGO Group partnered with Sony to release a set based on Guerilla Games’ smash hit PlayStation series, Horizon. The resulting set was an impressive recreation of the Tallneck machine. The set proved popular with fans and it seems that popularity could see the world of LEGO and Horizon collide again.
There have been rumblings of more sets based on the game, but a new rumour suggests Sony and the LEGO Group are set to announce something soon. According to Eurogamer, “a noted leaker” called Kurakasis suggests that “Sony is preparing something in collaboration with LEGO”. It’s rumoured that a trailer for this possible new partnership will be shown during Sony’s next big PlayStation Showcase. Although it’s not expressly noted in these rumours that it’s a game, that appears to be the hot topic. It might simply be further LEGO sets based on the popular game’s series Remember, this remains a rumour until confirmed by Sony or the LEGO Group. But I hope it’s true.
