Minifigures Could Be Set For UK Price Increase

A few weeks ago rumours began to swirl of a price increase for LEGO® Minifigures in the US. Currently a single pack of LEGO Minifigures cost $3.99 but the upcoming new series in January will see a jump of a dollar to $4.99 a pack. Well it seems it’s not just America who will be paying more for future Minifigure series as the UK price is looking like it will now be £3.49 a pack. As I work in retail, I’ve searched the system to today which has brought back 71026: LEGO Minifigures 2020 S1 at £3.49. It is worth noting that when the Harry Potter series was added it the system they were priced at £3.99 but soon reverted to £2.99 upon release. However with the price rumoured to be increasing elsewhere it looks likely the UK will follow suit. The next series of LEGO Minifigures is due in January and is heavily rumoured to be a DC themed collection. Will you still collect them at 50p more? And should all future series stick to just 16 characters to keep costs down? Let us know below.

  1. I guess we’ve been lucky to have had them at £2.99 for as long as we have. When you look at Series 19, especially the Mountain bike rider, £2.99 was a pretty good deal…
