Despite not Disney+ not being available in many countries, one of its major series has caused somewhat of a storm across social media. The Mandalorian introduced a character known only as The Child, but lovingly dubbed ‘Baby Yoda’ by many. This infant alien is the same species as wise Jedi Master Yoda, but a completely new character. In order to keep the character a secret, Disney held back merchandise production. However a recent post of StarWars.com has revealed a few of the pieces of The Child merchandise set to be released across 2020.
New products inspired by the Child will be hitting shelves starting in 2020 from shopDisney.com, LEGO and many more.
It would seem LEGO® are set to release a set based upon The Child, although it doesn’t state what the set will be, it would be safe to assume it to be a BrickHeadz release. Yoda has already appeared as a mini BrickHeadz character, alongside Luke Skywalker, so it will be intersting to see what scale The Child could take. Disney+ will be launched in selected European countries and the UK towards the end of March. It’s available not in the US, Canada and the Netherlands. The Child LEGO set will be launched at some point in 2020.
