LEGO Turns To Making PPE For Danish Healthcare Workers

With the on-going Covid-19 pandemic still affecting many people worldwide, a great strain has been placed upon those working in the healthcare sector. This has included an increased demand for Personal Protective Equipment such as masks and eyecare. Earlier today it was quietly revealed that the LEGO Group has developed some PPE eyewear which is being made in the LEGO® moulding factory. LEGO employees have worked around the clock to develop the components, make and pack them. The Region of Southern Denmark (Syddanmark) Facebook Page has posted images of the new protective eyewear and since then LEGO has put out a video showing the process of the PPE eyewear being made. It may not be a new LEGO set or anything like that but it’s a gesture that will protect those bravely looking after patients during this difficult time.
