LEGO Teases Mystery New Set With Midnight Launch

A mysterious new LEGO® set is being teased and will be launched in London on May 15th with a special Leicester Square midnight opening event. The set will be available from 00:01 on Wednesday May 15th, I believe the set will only be available for LEGO VIP members and the midnight launch event is expected to run until 3am. What could the set be? It seems a Strange time to launch a set with a store launch, so it must be something big! Will you be attending the event?

You just turn up and queue up, no invitation required

So what’s the deal, do you just turn up and they give something out or are you expected to buy this strange mystery set?

All depends on how many people turn up, for example for the UCS Falcon, they only had a certain amount of sets to sell, so once the queue had reached the limit, they stopped people getting in line. Then for the 007 set launch, there were two queues – one for those who wanted the set signed and one for those just wanted to buy it. Unlikely there will be any sort of giveaway without some sort of purchase. Either way to get into the store you will certainly have to queue and to buy the set, you’ll need to be a VIP member.
