With the 14th and 15th seasons of LEGO® NINJAGO arriving on UK screens next week, we now have the synopsis for the newest season dubbed Seabound. Little is known about the 15th season and the set based on it, apart from it being focused on Nya. She is the elemental master of water, which will play heavily into the story of the new season. The synopsis of the first few episodes also offers a glimpse at what the new LEGO NINJAGO sets could feature. We already know they are coming in June, thanks to the NINJAGO Sphere. The ninja will be donning new suits known as APS suits, which are scuba-like ninja robes and sets could include an underwater temple and Hydro Bounty Submarine. Season 15th begins next Wednesday at 6pm on CiTV.
A Big Splash
The ninjas ambush a new villain named Miss Demeanour who’s carrying a shipment of illegal vengestone – Nya creates a water cyclone to stop her but loses control of it, threatening a nearby village. The ninjas save the residents but Miss Demeanour escapes – meanwhile, Nya’s powers continue to go haywire at the monastery. Against her wishes, Kai calls in the help of their mother Maya.
The Call of the Deep
Maya attempts to take charge of Nya’s life by solving her ‘little problem’ with discipline, healthy eating, and more training, all things that quickly irk Nya – meanwhile, Zane and Pixal respond to a distress call at sea, but a strange energy pulse almost destroys their vehicles. They trace the source of the blast to deep under the ocean and surmise that it may be responsible for the problems with Nya’s power.
Unsinkable
Nya, Jay, Zane, Pixal and Lloyd board a new submarine – the Hydro Bounty – and set off to find the source of the energy signal disrupting Nya’s powers. When chores are mysteriously completed, the ninjas discover that they have a stowaway – Maya, and as they near the Tartarus Trench – the source of the energy pulse – the sub is attacked and sinks to the bottom of the ocean, now powerless and trapped.
Five Thousand Fathoms Down
Realising that the power source may be their only way to get the Hydro Bounty running, Nya and Maya use underwater APS suits to travel to the energy source. Reaching an ancient temple, they discover a new villain called Prince Kalmaar, who is attempting to awaken an ancient evil – when he discovers Maya and Nya, he zaps them before they can escape.
The Wrath of Kalmaar
Nya and Maya are held captive by Kalmaar, who wants the location of the Storm Amulet – however, he is summoned by his father King Trimaar, who has learned that he may be responsible for sinking the Hydro Bounty. Nya and Maya manage to free themselves and escape but are pursued by deadly Ripper Sharks – meanwhile, Jay risks his life in an attempt to restore power to the Hydro Bounty.
Long Live the King
After the Bounty rescues Nya and Maya, they’re all escorted to Merlopia to face King Trimaar – however, Kalmaar betrays his own people and turns the ninjas into fugitives who must now escape a flooding palace. Benthomaar learns the truth about his brother’s intentions and realises that the ninjas aren’t to blame.
