Each pack includes the watch face, clasp links, 18 links and a special Minifigure link, based on the Forbidden Spinjitzu versions of Zane and Cole from the latest series of the LEGO NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu TV series. It’s quite unusual for these two characters to appear on LEGO branded products, as it’s normally Kai and Lloyd who get all the love. The Minifigure links are a fair bit smaller than an actual Minifigure, but they are just as detailed. A recent addition to the LEGO watches are printed links, each watch includes four printed links, which feature mini golden shurican stars.
Overall
With the Summer holidays nearer their end, these funky new buildable watches are the perfect item for those heading back to school. Plus they are a fun and functional way to share your love of LEGO and NINJAGO. I like the use of other characters beyond Kai and Lloyd, as Zane and Cole both offer cool new colour schemes instead of just keep using green and red. Although they aren’t compatible with LEGO elements, I do like the fact they can be built and are fully interchangeable with other LEGO watches. That way it keeps the essence of LEGO and allows you to be creative with your watches.
