It’s time to ink up those ribbons as the LEGO® Ideas Typewriter is now available. This is the 35th LEGO Ideas set to transform an original fan design into an actual LEGO product. The typewriter was originally created by former LEGO MASTERS winner Steve Guinness. He was inspired to create the project after adding a similar typewriter build to the final featured in the final episodes of the first series of LEGO MASTERS UK. Inspiration also came from the founder of the LEGO Group, who used to use a typewriter in his office. In a nice nod to the past, Thomas Kirk Kristiansen has crafted a letter with is included in the set and can be loaded into the typewriter. The LEGO Ideas Typewriter is available now from LEGO stores and LEGO.com.
