Back in 2018, a company called Penwizard launched a personalised LEGO® book. The first was based in LEGO City and a NINJAGO themed version followed this. Both allowed you could create your own Minifigure avatar and have it featured in your very own one-of-kind Search-and-find book. The guys at Penwizard have since been in touch to see if I’ll like to take a look at one of the books. I’ve received my very own copy of the book dubbed LEGO Harry Potter – Adam’s Magical Search & Find Book. So let’s see if we can find me and take a closer look inside the book.

The Book
For the LEGO City Book, it was created on my behalf, but for this one, I got to personalised it myself. So there are a number of customisable options you go through before completing your order. You can choose between a number of Minifigure elements including hair pieces, Hogwarts House uniforms and faces, as well as skin tone and if the Minifigure is a child or adult. Although there are limited options compared to the masses available for physical Minifigures, it’s still easy enough to get something which should resemble you, in Minifigure form of course. Once your options have been complete, Penwizard will work their magic and create your book.
The book is a search-and-find title, which means your Minifigure avatar is hidden around the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and it’s many iconic locations. As well as trying to find yourself, each page also tasks you with finding other famous faces from Hogwarts. There are around 1o to find each page and at the back of the book, there are other people and items to find.
Overall
It doesn’t matter how old you are, having a version of yourself appear in a book is always fun and having a LEGO twist is even better. The book is based on those created by Ameet and the illustrations they create for these LEGO titles is always impressive. All these elements result in a unique gift and LEGO fans of any age, even more so if they enjoy the world of Harry Potter. You can order your own LEGO Harry Potter: Search-and-Find Personalised Book now exclusively from Penwizard. Please note the book does not come with a physical Minifigure.
