LEGO Group Signs With Entertainment Agency WME

It’s being reported by Deadline, that the LEGO Group has signed with entertainment agency WME to help “advise the LEGO® team across the entertainment industry and provide insight and support on strategies to optimize the company’s footprint in Hollywood, helping them to build and expand their business across film, TV, music, fashion and art, and create meaningful talent partnerships.” After the successful big-screen outings of The LEGO Movie and its sequels and spin-offs, along with long-running animated TV series and LEGO Masters, the LEGO Group is continuing to spread the LEGO brand beyond the brick. They are currently partnering with Pharrell Williams on his biopic, which is told through the medium of an animated LEGO movie. With further animated movies set to be produced by new studio partners Universal. WME have a long-running and impressive Hollywood history, previously representing the interests of Charlie Chaplin, Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe.
