There are still a few days left to get both of the current Easter-themed promotional LEGO® sets. Easter is one of the big seasonal holidays and we’re been treated to a number of sets inspired by the Spring holiday. For Easter 2023 there are two different promotional sets, which can both be acquired with different spend amounts and for once they are quite sensible. So here’s a look at both of the Easter LEGO GWP sets. The polybag is available until the end of this week and the Easter Basket runs until April 9th. Offers and availability may vary by region.

Free Set: 40587: Easter Basket | Pieces: 368 | Spend Limit: £65/$70/70€ | Duration: March 16th – April 4th | Availablity: Online & In-store
For a number of years, Easter has been celebrated by various different sets. They have included sets you can buy, make & take builds or promotional sets like the Easter Basket. As the name suggests, the set is inspired by the wicker baskets often used to collect hidden Easter Eggs. In place of eggs, the basket is filled with spring flowers and a tiny white rabbit peeking over the basket’s edge. It’s a fun little set, especially as it’s so colourful thanks to the various buildable flowers and foliage. The rabbit can be posed a little, thanks to moveable ears and rotating head. Better still the spend requirements aren’t as steep as some other recent GWP items. If you’re planning on picking up some of the new April releases, you should be able easily hit the £65/$70/70€ needed to get it for free.

Polybags aren’t just used as a means to promote various themes, they can also be used to provide smaller sets for seasonal events. Over the last few years there have been a number of smaller Easter-themed polybag sets and that continues with this year’s Easter Chickens set. This features a classic-looking buildable white chicken and two smaller yellow chicks. They all use the 2×2 round tile for eyes, which makes them look similar to other Creator 3-in-1 creatures. To give the set an Easter twist, there’s also a small green plate with a couple of golden eggs. The polybag is available until the end of March, so this Friday, with a spend requirement of just £35/$40/40€. Those in the UK will also be able to pick up the set for free at an upcoming Smyths Toys in-store event.
