Next month, a brand new LEGO® animated special will begin streaming on Disney+. After previous LEGO-themed animations such as the LEGO Star Wars seasonal specials and various LEGO Marvel shorts, it’s the turn of the Disney princesses. LEGO Disney Princess: The Castle Quest will see a number of LEGO Disney Princess characters transported to a magical castle. It soon becomes apparent that Gaston is behind the mystery and the princesses must work together to save their kingdoms. It’s not clear which style of characters will feature in the special, so it will either feature mini-dolls or minifigure versions of the Disney characters. Although Gaston has only appeared in minifigure form so far, the special would also tie nicely with the recently released Disney 100 Castle. LEGO Disney Princess: The Castle Quest will stream on Disney+ from August 18th.
