It’s that time of the year again when Toys R Us reveals the latest line-up of sets to form part of their LEGO® Bricktober promotion. As shared by Candid Bricks, the theme of this year’s offering is Hobbies, with a series of six minibuilds based on popular pastimes. The builds look very similar to the minibuilds featured in LEGO Dimensions sets. The sets will be given away at various points over the next few weeks with spend amounts on LEGO products, in-store or online at Toys R Us. There’s also a separate promotion to gain one of two special display stands for the sets. The promotion is currently being offered through Singapore and Malaysian TRU stores. As Toys R Us is now split into many different entities across the globe don’t expect Toys R Us ‘store within a store’ concepts in the US or the UK, to offer this promotion. The same goes for TRU online operations in the same regions. It’s possible the sets could be made available, globally through the LEGO Insiders program as the previous collection was.
