The long rumoured existence of LEGO® sets based on the upcoming Avatar sequels has been confirmed. In an interview with License Global, Stephanie Young, president of consumer products, games and publishing at The Walt Disney Company, detailed many of the upcoming products being produced alongside the Avatar films. These include LEGO sets the exact quote reads “The LEGO Group will also have a full suite of building sets to recreate and display major movie moments across both the first “Avatar” film and “Avatar 2.” So it would appear there are a few sets on the way and they will be based on both the original movie and it’s sequels. The world of Pandora is perfect for a LEGO theme, with a mix of aliens, humans, vehicles and creatures. Expect more details later in the year.
