The very first look at the Super Mario Bros. movie has been revealed through the first teaser poster. The film is being created by Illumination, Universal and Nintendo. It will be the first major Nintendo movie since the critically acclaimed Super Mario Bros. released in the 90s and the various Pokémon movies. Although nothing has been announced, it seems super likely that the film’s release will be accompanied by a range of LEGO® sets. Mostly likely separate from the current theme. The LEGO Group have been expanding their relationship with Universal in recent years with sets based on Jurassic World, Trolls and Minions, along with their interesting partnership with Universal Music for VIDIYO plus Universal having the rights to create movies based on the LEGO Group brand. The first trailer for the Super Mario Bros. movie will be released on Thursday and the film is released on April 7th, 2023.
