First Details On A Possible LEGO Subscription Service

Before we go any further this is NOT any sort of confirmation of firm plans to introduce a LEGO® subscription service. But it’s clearly something the LEGO Group is looking into. A few weeks ago, there was a survey to gauge interest in various different subscription platforms tied to the LEGO brand. A new survey is currently available in the VIP Rewards Centre (and will give you 150 VIP points for completing) which seems to narrow the possible option down to two different subscription plans. Both offer different extras such as a LEGO Wallet and account which could be used across LEGO Stores, online and LEGOLAND locations. Also, it could offer a way to keep track of your LEGO collection and share your creations with others. But both plans could offer:

  • Get free gifts with every purchase
  • Free delivery
  • Return used bricks for LEGO discounts and points
  • Access to limited edition products
  • Early access to LEGO products experiences and content
  • Buy past sets from the LEGO archive

The survey suggests a monthly price point of £4.99. With free delivery and free gift on all orders, it could certainly pay for itself quite quickly. It seems points on purchases would still be a thing but they could be used in different things. For example, you can redeem points in your LEGO Wallet to skip the queue of a ride at LEGOLAND. Please remember this is still in the concept stage but you can learn more and share your opinion by completing the survey. Visit the VIP Rewards Centre and click the Earn More Points tab.

  1. Since I’m only interested in free gifts with every purchase, limited edition products, early access to products and buying sets from the archive, I’m rather indifferent as to which option they choose. However, I would have preferred a third option with the core benefits included in both options provided, but without the digital content, at a slightly lower monthly cost. Perhaps it’s just my age but none of the digital content interests me at all. To be honest, some of the features I’m not even sure how they are intended to be used.
