For over 10 years both DC Comics and Marvel have inspired sets in the LEGO® Super Heroes range of sets. In the last couple of years, Marvel has seen vastly more sets released compared to DC. This is purely due to the fact there have been fewer DC movies and TV shows released by Warner Bros. Whereas Marvel and the MCU have released a number of movies and series on Disney+, as well as having a fully connected universe spanning 15 years. Now the fractured DCEU has officially been abandoned and DC Studios was formed and is being led by James Gunn and Peter Safran. Today, they have revealed future plans for DC Studios and they could hint at how the LEGO Group can once again bring DC back into the LEGO Super Heroes fold. Obviously, not all these newly announced films and series will result in LEGO sets nor is it any sort of official confirmation of any upcoming LEGO products.
