Following the surprising success of LEGO® Star Wars: The Video Game, the newly created TT Games continued their adventures in a galaxy far, far away with a follow-up focused on the original trilogy of films. LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy allowed players to experience the adventures of the Rebel Alliance as they face off against the Imperial Empire. Despite the simple nature of LEGO titles, the game attracted a huge fanbase, with gamers of all ages enamoured by the classic characters and slapstick action.
Using the Mos Eisley Cantina as the hub world players could experience the stories of A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi retold with the added LEGO humour, which can become a key part of LEGO Entertainment products. Almost 60 characters were included in the game as well as the ability to create your own characters. As with the first game, players will soon be able to enjoy aspects of this game in The Skywalker Saga.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be released on April 5th and is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series consoles, Nintendo Switch and PC.
