As reported before Disney’s D23 Expo began, Pixar was set to detail their upcoming partnership with the LEGO Group via a series of animated shorts. These will take the form of LEGO® Pixar Bricktoons, each inspired by classic Pixar films. There will be five animated shorts inspired by Cars, Brave, Coco, The Incredibles and Finding Nemo. The shorts will take inspiration from the various LEGO Disney sets featuring Pixar characters. So Brave will feature mini-dolls, Coco and The Incredibles will include minifigures, Cars will feature the car figures from the old theme. Finding Nemo will feature brick-built fish similar to those included in the Disney Duos set. They will all premiere on Disney+ on September 4th.
