If you’ve been following the news about LEGO® 2K Drive, you’ll know the upcoming game will introduce an exclusive 2K-branded LEGO set known as the Aquadirt Racer. Unfortunately, getting hold of this set seems to be overly confusing for those in the UK at least. Firstly, the Aquadirt Racer comes in two forms – digitally as a pre-order bonus and as a physical LEGO set. It seemed the physical version was only included with the stupendously expensive Awesome Edition, which has an RRP of over £80. Currently, only the 2K Store, LEGO.com and GAME have the Awesome Edition available to pre-order and only GAME expressly note that the physical set is included along with their retailer-exclusive Speed Champions polybag. LEGO.com does show an image of the set but it doesn’t mention it in the product description.
After searching all the usual places I get my games from it falls to ShopTo.net to come up trumps, as they are offering the standard version of the game along with the physical Aquadirt Racer set for just £42.42 on Switch/PS4 and £49.35 on PS5/Xbox Series X. Obviously, the standard edition doesn’t include the additional digital content, but if you are only interested in the main game and wanted the exclusive LEGO set, this is the cheapest way to get them both. If you are already a ShopTo customer your free membership level may make the noted pricing even cheaper. This article is not sponsored by anyone, I’ve used ShopTo.net for years and have always had great service from them.
