As we head into 2023, the 90th Anniversary of the LEGO Group may be ending but that doesn’t mean the return of classic sets has. In January, Blacktron will be making a return as a GWP set. Like the Lion Knights’ Castle and Galaxy Explorer sets from earlier this year, a 1980s classic set has inspired the new Blacktron Cruiser. Images of the set have been added to LEGO.com and spotted by Jay’s Brick Blog. The set is expected to be given away at some point in early 2023 and will be the first of many promotional sets inspired by classic LEGO themes.
