All of the LEGO® Advent Calendars set to be released for the 2022 countdown to Christmas have now been revealed. Once again there will be 5 different themes to choose from including LEGO City, LEGO Friends, LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Marvel. I’ll only be showing the boxes as the whole idea of an advent calendar is to be surprised by its daily offerings. But if you want to see their content head to LEGO.com or in the case of the Marvel calendar, you’ll need to access the LEGO Instructions App.
The LEGO City Advent Calendar will once again be inspired by the antics of the animated TV series, LEGO City Adventures. It will include a mix of minifigure characters from the show and in place of tiny recreate other sets, there will be a selection of accessory minibuilds. There will also be an exclusive animal figure! And yes Santa is once again included, it’s a holiday tradition. Click here for the product page.
The LEGO Friends Advent Calendar is still hanging in there and the 2022 edition is pretty much more of the same. With a mix of mini-dolls, micro-dolls and minibuild scenery. It does include a baby reindeer figure, but unfortunately, it’s the Friends-style creatures. Click here for the product page.
The LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar for 2022 is a sort of 2-in-1 deal, with a mix of minifigures and minibuilds, which can also be used to play a board game after all the doors have been opened. The minibuilds are all based on moments or locations from the Harry Potter films. The minifigure line-up is also impressive. Click here for the product page.
The LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar is inspired by the upcoming Disney+ animated special, LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation. The holiday-themed is used to create a number of unique minifigues and well as holiday minibuilds such as Vader’s Castle Sandcastle. Plus it features a Santa Gonk Droid. Finally, the most exciting of the 2022 Advent Calendars is inspired by Marvel Studios. Marvel is a recent addition to the line-up with the first Marvel Advent Calendar debuting last year. The 2022 release is inspired by the Disney+ series – The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. This live-action MCU spin-off has inspired the unique minifigures and minibuilds found in the Advent Calendar. You’ll need to head to the LEGO Instructions App or LEGO Kids to see more.
