Prepare your eyes for the first look at the upcoming ‘live-action’ Minecraft movie. Simply named A Minecraft Movie, it brings to life the blocky world featured in the Minecraft games. Iconic creatures and locations from the games have been given, well it’s difficult to say, but a high-definition makeover? Jack Black stars as Jack Black cosplaying as Steve along with Aquaman star Jason Momoa. It’s certainly an interesting take on the Minecraft universe, whether it manages to capture the same magic as The LEGO® Movie and Barbie remains to be seen. One thing for certain is there will be at least one upcoming LEGO Minecraft set inspired by the film. A Minecraft Movie will be released in 2025.
