A Closer Look At The LEGO Minifigure Factory

On Monday the LEGO® Store in Leicester Square welcomed the all-new LEGO Minifigure Factory. This new in-store experience lets you design and print your very own unique LEGO Minifigure. After purchasing a LEGO Minifigure Factory Pack at the till, you take it to the Minifigure Factory station, on the ground floor of the Leicester Square Store. There you scan your pack, enter your name and get designing. Whilst you wait for your creation to be printed, grab some accessories for your Minifigure then wait for your name to appear on the Minifigure Factory screen and go grab your creation. They cost £10.99 each and you also get a 1×3 brick in the special packaging, which features your unique one-of-a-kind Minifigure. Thanks to BricksFanz awesome London correspondent, Mark Campbell, we now have some images of the new area and a closer look at how the Minifigures can be customised using the touch screen design station and the special printer unit.

Please note the LEGO Minifigure Factory is only at the store for a limited time only

  2. I create my own custom build minifigures. I think I can excel this machine, but I’ll give it a try.

  3. So how does the printing actually work? Are we choosing pictures/faces to print, or drawing our own?

    • A little of both, there are preset images which can be customised.

  5. Sadly, this was a test and as such was removed after the store closed on Wednesday.

I gather over 600 individual figures were made and sold.

Speaking to management, they told me that they had no idea whether it was coming back?
