It’s been a great week for gaming fans as the LEGO Group has been in attendance at Gamescom in Germany. Although no new games were announced, we got the first look at upcoming sets inspired by Animal Crossing and Mario Kart. I’ve also taken a look at the Ocarina of Time version of the LEGO® Great Deku Tree and begun my reviews of the recently released Nintendo sets, starting with Animal Crossing. This week has also seen the reveal of a partnership between the LEGO Group and US sportswear and former BIONICLE shoe makers, NIKE. The fruits of this new link-up won’t be revealed until next year but it could result in more LEGO-branded clothing and footwear, along with NIKE-branded LEGO sets. Look out for more reviews but until then, catch up on the latest LEGO news and reviews below.
