A new LEGO® Technic set has been officially revealed today. Images of the Mercedes-Benz G 500 PROFESSIONAL Line have been doing the rounds for a few days but Jay’s Brick Blog has spotted them on LEGO.com. The set celebrates the 45th anniversary of the Mercedes-Benz off-road vehicle. As with similar Technic vehicles, the set features a detailed build and working functions including a 6-cylinder in-line piston engine, the gearbox with its drive, neutral and reverse settings and 2 differential locks. It joins the ever-growing list of new sets being released on August 1st and can be pre-ordered now from LEGO.com and retail partners including Smyths, Amazon and John Lewis in the UK.
