Earlier this year it was revealed that musician Pharrell Williams would be using LEGO® elements in a animated film called Piece by Piece. Now the first trailer for that film has been released. It’s similar in style to The LEGO Movie films, with the world and characters all being built from LEGO bricks and minifigures. The film will also feature new music from Pharrell Williams. There’s also a rumoured set inspired by the film, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet. Interestingly, Focus Films is part of the Comcast family, which includes Universal Pictures. So I’m not sure if this film counts as part of the deal for Universal to take over creating LEGO Movies from Warner Bros. The film will be released on October 11th. Check out the trailer below.
