Last month I shared images of an impressive, (most impressive) Limited Edition gift from Epic Games and the LEGO Group. It was to celebrate the LEGO® Star Wars content being added to LEGO Fortnite. Although the Star Wars event has long since ended in Fortnite, you can continue to enjoy Star Wars content in LEGO Fortnite and earn plenty of free and premium goodies with the Rebel Adventures LEGO Pass. The images I did share on social media didn’t really do the artwork justice and as it’s been 6 months since LEGO Fortnite launched within Fortnite, it’s the perfect time to have a slightly better look at it. Firstly, the image is inspired by concept art for the LEGO Fortnite which shows Brite Bomber, Cuddle Team Leader and Auru running in fear of an invading Imperial Fleet crash landing.
The artwork has been printed on huge metal plate, which gives the image a shimmering finish. As mentioned it is a Limited Edition item so it also features a plaque denoting that it’s 181 of 225 pieces worldwide. To give an impressive of its size, here’s a BrickHeadz characters for scale.
Thank you to the LEGO Group and Epic Games for gifting this special item. It will soon have pride of place on my wall. LEGO Fortnite can be played for free within Fortnite. The LEGO Star Wars content is still available, with the Rebel Adventures LEGO Pass offering free content to unlock through play, along with premium content. Each introduces digital LEGO items to use in-game. Learn more here.
