With the LEGO Group introducing many more displayable sets, there has been a growing number of display solutions. Although there is a great focus on enclosed display cases, there are other ways to get the most out of your LEGO® builds with these customisable display solutions from iDisplayit. If you’ve read some of my set reviews, you’ll notice I often like to create dynamic scenes when snapping shots of them. These are often the result of balancing builds on precarious stacks of transparent LEGO pieces. So iDisplayit have kindly supplied a couple of their generic display stands which can be used to display a large number of LEGO sets.
These come in different heights and angles plus they can be tweaked to offer different connection points making them the perfect option for a large number of different sets. So the top plate has slots for LEGO studs to be pushed into them. Each stand includes four pink 1×1 studs. This allows you to create numerous connection points depending on which set is displayed. The larger stands also feature two different-sized top plates. They come ‘flat packed’ and simply slot together after removing the protective covering. It is a little tricky to push the pieces and studs together, but once done they create a sturdy stand, which can hold many different-sized sets. Display cases are great but they do take up a lot of room so if you aren’t able to display them, these display stands are a great way to bring a little excitement to your LEGO displays.
