To celebrate the upcoming release of the brand new LEGO® Disney Castle set, the designers behind the set’s creation will be attending the Leicester Square LEGO store this weekend. Visitors to the store on July 1st, can purchase the new set and get it signed by the LEGO Designers who helped to create them. Ryan Van Woerkom and Niken Ayumurti Hartomo will be on hand to meet fans and sign sets between 10:00 and 11:00 on Saturday, July 1st, which is a super short amount of time. Please note the LEGO Disney Castle set is only available to purchase between July 1st – 3rd by LEGO VIP members. It will then be on general sale from July 4th. You’ll also be able to build a mini Disney Castle set this upcoming weekend.

It’s cool that two of the design team will be in Leicester Square to meet the fans. But, a one hour time slot seems dumb! LEGO U.K. must know how busy the Toy Shop gets? The queue to get in on some days can be an hour plus!
The last signing was a short session too. If LEGO are bringing people in all the way from Billund then at least make their visit, and time with fans worth while. 60 minutes seems pointless, especially given how popular this set is going to be!
