It has been announced by Warner Discovery that more The Lord of the Rings films are on the way. During an earning call today, it was revealed that Warner Bros. Picture has signed a deal with the new rights holder, Embracer. The new films will be a collaborative effort between Warner Bros., New Line Cinema and Middle-earth Enterprises. They will also tell previously untold stories from Middle-earth. But what does this mean for LEGO fans? It means there is a strong possibility there will be more LEGO sets inspired by The Lord of the Rings. There’s definitely a thirst for more Middle-earth sets, the upcoming LEGO Icons Rivendell has proven to be very popular with fans. Of course, this isn’t any sort of official confirmation on any upcoming products and any new films are a long way off.
