Today marks the 90th anniversary of the LEGO Group and to celebrate to mark the occasion, the first-ever World Play Day is taking place today. It will be a day of play-packed global events, collaborations and surprises, but more importantly, it’s a day to play. Build that LEGO® set that you’ve been meaning to get around to, rebuild an old set or take part in one of the many challenges being shared across social media. It doesn’t even have to involve LEGO, build a fort, run around the park or even throw a ball for the dog. It’s simply a day to remember the power of play and the part the humble LEGO brick has played in it. Happy Birthday to the LEGO Group and thanks for all the fun!
