For the launch of the new LEGO® City Stuntz range, LEGO has partnered with Bold Dog FMX, a freestyle motocross team, to recreate some epic motocross stunts that kids have come up with. In the video, you can watch the daredevil athletes build the stunt courses with the new LEGO City Stuntz sets and then take the creative ideas of the kids to real courses to replicate them in real life. There are even sharks involved, for a less deadly way of recreating epic stunts, the LEGO City Stuntz range is available now with further sets due in early 2022.
In North America, some of the LEGO City Stuntz sets have been removed from sale due to a slight issue with the new flywheel elements. This only affects set sold in North America. Here’s the official statement from the LEGO Group:
Some consumers in the Americas region have experienced breakage with a wheel element when playing with the LEGO® City Stuntz motorbike. This is a product quality issue and does not pose a safety risk.
The fault is only present on LEGO City Stuntz sets on sale in the Americas and does not affect any similar sets available elsewhere.
We want to provide our consumers with only the best possible play experience and have taken immediate action to rectify the problem, working on ways to ensure our consumers in the Americas also receive the same high quality play experience as those in the rest of the world. Consumers can also request replacement elements by contacting LEGO Customer Services.
