No Starch Press is back with another LEGO-themed book, this time get ready to build a trip into space. The LEGO® Space Projects Book features 52 models with clear step-by-step instructions, details on sourcing bricks, entertaining descriptions, and detailed technical specs—all accompanied by Jeff Friesen’s gorgeous photography, which has earned him over 20k followers on Instagram and was lauded in his prior books LEGO Micro Cities and The LEGO Castle Book. Many designs in this book take inspiration from real-life spaceships, like NASA-grade propulsion systems, heat shields, and solar collectors. Others are straight out of science fiction, like a cyborg (mecha) explorer with manoeuvring thrusters that double as laser guns. The book will be available in August, but you can get a sneak peek at a few preview pages below.
