LEGO We Just Click Book Review

Chronicle Books have been releasing a number of products featuring LEGO® bricks and Minifigures throughout 2020 and their first offering for the new year is released tomorrow. LEGO We Just Click is a fun little book, which when I worked in a book store, would be classed a humour book. But it’s actually best suited for the next major seasonal event. The book would make a great Valentine’s Day gift for that LEGO loving loved one in your life. Although the day of love is a while away, here’s a brief look at the LEGO We Just Click book.

We Just Click Review

Product Description

LEGO® minifigures don’t play around when it comes to matters of the heart! We Just Click is a sweet and humorous look at love within the zany LEGO universe. Fifty pairs of iconic minifigures answer a timeless prompt (“I knew we clicked when . . .”) by sharing heartwarming moments of romance, friendship and love, in all its diverse forms. With a little something for the LEGO lover in each of us, We Just Click features a different relationship on each spread, highlighting what our favourite minifigures love about each other with delightful, punny humour. Minifigures were made to fit together and so are we!

We Just Click Review

Similar to the first book, LEGO Small Parts: The Secret Life of Minifigures, We Just Click includes numerous scenes featuring LEGO Minifigures. Each is inspired by various romantic tropes, obviously with a LEGO twist. So each two-page spread simply features a ‘puntasic’ loving message or phrase and a corresponding image connected to it. The LEGO scenes throughout the book are littered with the humour we’ve come to expect from the LEGO brand. Don’t expect an in-depth look into the world of LEGO bricks, this is simply a fun little book and as mentioned above, a fun gift idea for a loved one who may have a passing fancy of LEGO products. It doesn’t have to just be a Valentine’s Day gift, but it’s a great gift idea for that particular day.
