LEGO Through The Ages With Argos

It has been announced that Argos catalogue will no longer be printing their long-running catalogue. Since the early 7os, the UK retailer has provided two editions of their famous catalogue twice a year. Many people will remember eagerly flicking through the latest copy of the Argos Book and circling everything they wanted for Christmas. With the Argos catalogue beginning in the 70s, it’s around the same time much golden age LEGO® sets were released. With many of them featuring in the pages of Argos books for nearly 50 years.

Last year I took a trip down memory lane, thanks to the Argos Book of Dream website, to see what the LEGO offerings were like over the years. All of which you can check out again below. These span from the late 70s through to the 00s. There are a few sets I fondly remember having as a kid and plenty of sets I wish I had now. Plus check out the prices! So as we say goodbye to the Argos Book, take a moment to remember the good times again.
