As I reported last year, the global Rebuild The World campaign from LEGO® will continue into 2020 and that will include a brand new book from DK called LEGO 100 Ways to Rebuild the World. The book will be filled with build ideas inspired by the Rebuild the World tagline. It’s very much along the same lines as DK Books ‘Ideas’ range, so you can grab your own collection of bricks and get building. The book will be published by DK in October. Check out the cover and a couple of pages below. Please note the cover is subject to change.
Discover 100 fun, practical ideas to be kind, be bold and make the world an awesome place – all while getting creative with your LEGO® bricks.
From making a neighbour a LEGO thank-you card to planting bee-friendly flowers, learn how to make little changes to help you, your family, your friends, and your community. Each idea encourages you to build with your LEGO bricks and minifigures – and to be inspired to make a difference in the real world around you.
Build a LEGO tree for inspiration and then help plant a real tree. Create a LEGO emoji to make your friends smile. Gather up your family and play a LEGO game together. Make a LEGO desk pot to help keep your room tidy. Learn about endangered animals and build your favourite ones with LEGO bricks. How will you start to rebuild the world?

Another over-priced book from DK featuring the same old “let’s build a pig, duck, car” models. This is nothing new and just uses the Rebuild the World campaign as a way to flog an expensive book that will end up in the bargain bin of The Works and as a cheap stocking-filler!
If Lego were serious about this campaign they should release a book utilising ideas from their own stable of in-house designers, not just a regurgitation of brick-built caterpillars and linking them into saving the planet!
