After being offline for most of today LEGO® Shop@Home has returned with an all new LEGO VIP Loyalty Program. You’re VIP account is now accessed via a dedicated Rewards Centre, which allows you to keep track of your points as well as being able to earn points in all-new ways. You’ll still get points from all LEGO purchases made in LEGO Brand Stores and online, but additional point can be earned by completing simple tasks like visiting the official LEGO social channels or answering simple surveys. It’s not just earning point which has been tweaked, you can now spend them on special VIP items.
Currently these include special edition LEGO Marvel art prints, including the third of the recently issued Avengers prints. You can also get the LEGO DC Super Heroes Batpod set, which was given away a number of years ago. You can also use points to purchase tickets to LEGOLAND, Discovery Centres and LEGO House. Plus there are other smaller goodies to be had, like a number of space-themed colouring pages. Redeeming these offers will issue you with a special code, which can be used when next placing on online order. You can also turn points into money-off vouchers. Plus there is a contest to win a trip to LEGOLAND Florida.
You can also go digital and get a special version of your LEGO VIP card for your mobile device, currently you can get a version for the Apple Wallet or Google Pay apps. These can be used in the same way as a physical card when shopping in LEGO stores. You’ll need to visit the Rewards Centre from your phone to correctly access this. There are still a few issues to iron out but the new VIP system appears to be a vast improvement and being able to spend points on special items is a great new feature.
