Halloween and other seasonal holidays have been marked with a similar array of sets in recent years. These have included characters associated with holidays recreated in BrickHeadz form or Minifigure-filled scenes. This new set introduces something a little new, in the form of two buildable decorations. There are two spooky creations, a pumpkin and a bat, both of which are built in the style of a bauble decoration.

The base of both characters is fairly similar, with the inner core almost like a mini BrickHeadz build. This is then clad with various plates. The graphic detailing is achieved with stickers. Although it’s a shame these have been used over print detail, they are the thicker stickers, so are a little easier to apply and align.

What makes these buildable Halloween minibuilds a little different compared to most other seasonal builds are strings, which are tied to each decoration and allows them to be hung up. So they are great little builds to bring a little spookiness to your Halloween displays this year. Plus with Trick or Treating most likely off the cards this year, this little set could be a fun project to keep you and your little ones busy on All Hallows’ Eve. A similar pair will be coming for Christmas, so keep an eye out for those.
