76211: Shuri’s Sunbird Black Panther Set Review
As the Black Panther sequel arrives in cinemas, it’s the perfect time to take another set inspired by Wakanda Forever. The once-hidden country of Wakanda is well known for its powerful protector, the Black Panther, but it’s also technologically advanced thanks to the super rare Vibranium element. This advancement in technical finesse has allowed the Wakandans to create impressive ships. One such vehicle is the Sunbird,...
LEGO MINDSTORMS Books Review
In what is now unfortunate timing, No Starch Press have two new LEGO® MINDSTORMS books available. Both books offer advice and tips to get the most out of the soon-to-be-retired MINDSTORMS kits and elements. Although the product range is set to be discontinued at the start of next year, the companion app will remain active for a couple more years and the books also cover the SPIKE Prime kits from LEGO Education, which are to remain on...
76210: Hulkbuster LEGO Marvel Set Review
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the LEGO Group creating sets inspired by the world of Marvel. Although this milestone remains largely unmarked, the set I’m taking a look at today should be considered a pinnacle for LEGO® Marvel sets. When it’s released on November 4th, the Iron Man Hulkbuster will become the one largest Marvel sets and boast the greatest piece count. On paper, this should be the ultimate Marvel set...

I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing a few of the newly released and upcoming LEGO sets, games and books. They have included the LEGO Marvel Black Panther bust, Winter Village Holiday Main Street and the new LEGO Hallmark Keepsakes. Here’s a handy round-up of some of the most...
21337: Table Football LEGO Ideas Set Review
What can be achieved with LEGO® bricks continues to impress and there is one particular LEGO theme which has a reputation for taking this notion to the extreme. LEGO Ideas has seen plenty of weird and wonderful fan creations turned into LEGO sets. Over the years these have included a Maze game, a Ship in a Bottle, a Pop-up Book, a playing Piano, a Globe and even a Typewriter. Next month, that line-up is set to expand with a mini Table...
LEGO Bricktales Game Review
For over 25 years LEGO® Games have used the LEGO brand to create varied and interesting video games. For much of that time, TT Games’ have shepherded the LEGO Games franchise but in the last few years other developers have taken a whack at creating LEGO titles and it has seen digital LEGO bricks to create all manner of games. The latest is from another new developer to the LEGO Games stable. LEGO Bricktales is billed as a...
80039: The Heavenly Realms Set Review
Despite the theme’s limited availability, LEGO® Monkie Kid has rapidly become the go-to theme for wacky minifigures and impressive builds. It provides everything from small vehicles to big mechs but one of my favourite Monkie Kid offerings are those sets based on a location. Flower Fruit Mountain and The City of Lanterns were amazing sets but do they have some competition from the set I’m taking a look at today? The...
