60388: Gaming Tournament Truck Set Review
Between the constant fires and seemingly endless crime spree, the folks of LEGO® City have found time to enjoy some new pastimes. This has resulted in some interesting new sets for the long-running theme. The first wave of LEGO City sets arriving in 2023 will include plenty of firsts such as the set I’m taking a look at in the review. The world of gaming has become a great source of inspiration for LEGO sets and now that...
71414: Conkdor’s Noggin Bopper Set Review
I’m not sure if it’s been dictated by Nintendo or simply a design choice by the LEGO® Super Mario Design Team but quite a few of the LEGO Super Mario Expansion Sets are inspired by the more recent Mario games. Obviously, there are enemies and locations which have appeared in the games since the very beginning but newer titles from the Wii, Wii U and Switch have acted as a major source for many of the LEGO sets....
40648: Money Tree LEGO Set Review
The LEGO Group have always celebrated jet seasonal holidays or events with a variety of different LEGO® products. Over the last few years, Chinese New Year has inspired many new sets with the latest releases being no different. In fact, this year has seen the range switch things up a little with the usual LEGO and DUPLO playsets being joined by a displayable build and a smaller set, which is the focus of this review. As a Christmas...
LEGO Friends Bedroom Sets Review
Next year will see the LEGO® Friends theme completely rebooted with a new cast of characters. This new generation of Heartlake City will be more diverse and offer fun new ways for kids to see themselves in the toys they play with. Even before the upcoming changes, LEGO Friends has offered groups of similar sets such as Heart Boxes and Cubes. This will continue with the new sets and 4 Bedroom sets. These also provide one of the easiest...
10312: Jazz Club LEGO Modular Building Review
I’m quite the newbie when it comes to LEGO® Modulars. The first one I built was the Book Shop and I’ve been lucky enough to get them for review purposes ever since. I’ve always admired the modular buildings range and fully understand their appeal. The only reason I never delved into them was the lack of space to display them and the Pokémon nurtured urge to ‘catch them all’ would make me seek out past...
LEGO Lord Of The Rings BrickHeadz Review
I have fond connections to the Lord of the Rings series. My old dog was called Bilbo, I loved the films and couldn’t wait to head to the shops to pick up the extended editions. Of course, the books really bring the rich world of Middle Earth to life. But for many, it’s the film series from New Line Cinema which has provided the route into this amazing world. They also acted as the inspiration for the LEGO® Lord of the...
71037: LEGO Minifigures Series 24 Review
It’s time to take a look at the upcoming series of LEGO® Minifigures. It’s been a while since I’ve had them to review and I’m glad I’ve been offered Series 24 as it appears to be the best series of original characters yet. It introduces 12 new faces to collect and includes plenty of new elements to help bring the characters to life. So ahead of their official release on January 1st, it’s time to meet the...
