76194: Tony Stark’s Sakaarian Iron Man Set Review
One of the most exciting and intriguing developments to the MCU is coming via the first-ever animated story to be told in this vast interconnected world. Marvel’s What If…? recounts stories that may seem familiar but feature different characters in different roles. The Disney+ show will act as inspiration for several LEGO® sets and the upcoming series of LEGO Minifigures. After already taking a look at the Captain Carter &...

For a number of years, DK Books have been publishing a series of LEGO® books under the Ideas banner. Previous titles have included LEGO Christmas Ideas, LEGO Halloween Ideas and LEGO Cute Ideas. Each book featured an exclusive minibuild model and a selection of inspirational build ideas, in keeping with the theme of the book, which can be built with your own LEGO bricks. 42128: Heavy-duty Tow Truck Technic Set Review
Way back in the 80s when music was epic and fashion was questionable, my LEGO® journey began with pre-built Christmas Day classics such as the 6080: Castle or 6392: Airport. Along with my favourite set as a kid is 6482: Light & Sound Rescue Helicopter. A few years after this I was given my first ever Technic set, one I still have. That set was 8837: Pneumatic Excavator and it was powered by pneumatic pumps. Back then it was...

It may be the smaller of the Wildlife Rescue sets but it features two new animals and makes use of a newish action element. So here’s a closer...
LEGO Life Hacks Book Review
DK Books has been publishing a number of LEGO-inspired titles for a number of years now. Although those which feature LEGO® Minifigures or Minibuilds are often the most exciting, occasionally there are books like LEGO Life Hacks. There may not be any physical LEGO elements included with the book but the inspirational books found throughout are certainly worth a look. So here’s my review of the LEGO Life Hacks book. Product...
42129: 4×4 Mercedes-Benz Zetros Trial Truck Review
This summer there are two new flagship sets joining the LEGO® Technic line-up. One includes the latest tech in the form of the Control+, whilst the other employs the classic power of air. Now it’s been a while since I’ve built a Technic set but I’ve had the opportunity to build them both, so I decided to tackle the Mercedes-Benz Truck first. Technic builds are vastly different compared to your average LEGO set. So...
75315: Imperial Light Cruiser Set Review
We first see the Imperial Light Cruiser in chapter 12 of The Mandalorian. However, it has connections to similar ships long before the rise of the Empire. During the Clone Wars, the Republic Army used a similar class of ship. They were classed as escort ships due to their smaller and more manoeuvrable nature. As the Empire’s grip on the galaxy tightened, these old Republic vessels were repurposed for the Imperial Navy. One of...
